Development of a film with my blood drum spirit ensemble and master artists, on the connections between Ghanaian and American cultures through music and dance, for global online access and public broadcast in the United States and internationally. Work began in December 2014 and continued through June 2017, in Ghana, West Africa, and the United States. The completed film, We Are One: blood drum spirit, directed by Sara Pettinella, has garnered numerous awards and has been premiered internationally in Africa, Asia, and in the U.S. Other video/film projects will include global music cultures from Asia, West Asia, South Asia, and the Americas.
